Not likely: Most of us have been infected with herpes I but only a small number shows up with canker sores. Thus it would be unlikely that sharing foods would be the issue. Since genital herpes is not usually transmitted through the mouth, you will not get HPVII from sharing food. On the other hand, I believe the H pylori infection which may cause gastritis and ulcer may be transmitted via saliva.

Canker sores : Canker sores are the most common oral lesions. Individual ulcers typically last 1-2 weeks. The condition is idiopathic (cause is not known) recurrent aphthous ulcers is usually self-limiting. If concerned see your dentist after 10 days or visit today for laser immediate amelioration.
