A member asked:

What kind of medical supplies does aids patients usually need?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None: No special medical supplies are needed for hiv/aids patients. Hiv can only be transmitted in several ways, usually through unprotected sexual contact or through sharing infected needles but not through saliva, urine, or feces (unless blood present). Hiv is also not transmitted through using the same eating utensils or using the same bathroom as someone who has hiv.
