YES: when the embryo implants, you can get endometrial shedding that results in bleeding. you will need a pregnancy test and to see your doctor if concerned.

Yes: Bleeding or spotting can occur in a normal pregnancy at the time the pregnancy attaches to the wall of the uterus. However, heavy bleeding is a warning sign that the pregnancy can be abnormal and in some cases not only the pregnancy but the mom can be at risk. I would recommend a prompt evaluation by a health care professional.
