What is it like to work in mental health facility?

See below: It's challenging as you're dealing with people in distress. It is also rewarding because people do get better. Working in a mental health facility requires flexibility, but also the ability to follow structure and ability to look at your own reactions to a client and monitor these reactions. Are there any specific aspects that interest you?
