I've noticed 3 bruises on my stomach for no apparent reason approx. 2-3 weeks apart. much larger than a dime. should i be concerned?

Probably not: A few bruises rarely indicates a problem. Usually it is from unnoticed trauma or accidents. Widespread bruising or petechial rash would be concerning for a clotting disorder. If the bruising expands, you should get a checkup from your PCP.
