Yes; no: Yes, exposure to genital herpes is still possible, depending in when and how you were tested. It is most easily transmitted by contact with a partner who has an active lesion. These are more obvious in man, so the chances are much lower if he was without a flare and you had a negative HSV IgM antibody test. BV's cause is unknown. It is a change in bacteria balance. It is not considered an STD.

Yes and No: HSV testing (in blood) is not definitive especially early on. BV has nothing to do with Herpes. In fact it is not even an infection but an imbalance in vaginal flora. Get retested for Herpes in blood in 3 months -any genital lesions should be cultured for a definitive diagnosis, Recommend Safe sex in future, You are not only sleeping with your partner but also with everyone he has slept with.
