Extremely rare: The tubes are usually cut and then cauterized to prevent you getting pregnant as well as leaving the possibility of ever re-attaching. The chances of both sides of the tube re-opening, then finding each other to fuse together and become patent would be EXTREMELY rare.

Less than 1 in 1000: Tubal ligation is done with clips or sutures and the cut ends are separated from each other so they cannot "grow" back together . If done properly less than 1 per 1000 will fail. Rarely some women have 3 Fallopian tubes or the ligated tubes may "recanulate" but there is no reason to suspect that this has happened to you. You can do a dye test (HSP) to confirm your tubes are closed if you want.
