Possible: Burning and tingling sensations are often associated with the prodrome of a herpes outbreak. This is then generally followed by the lesion phase. The location of your symptoms are not classic for herpes - which is more often seen on the genitals themselves. Herpes is also not generally associated with vaginal discharge.

Possibly: Have you had a herpes outbreak before? The answer depends on your past history. If you have had a previous attack, then the symptoms you are experiencing could be a recurrence. If you have never had herpes, this is a less likely possibility. Initial outbreaks are usually more severe. But with your symptoms, and an unknown sexual history, it is best to consult with a health care provider for exam
