Small sore on the side of my tongue that looks indented and is somewhat painful & not sure who to make appt with & how to know weather or not to trust?

See internist. usually they do good job with several available medications If good diagnosis is made. but they have to make sure not other problems are present. Aphthous stomatitis is usually good responder to small liquid steroids swishes
