Opioid withdrawal: Honesty is always the best policy when speaking to your physician. AND you should be speaking to your physician not an ER doc if you can help it. Your doc can help you best, but most ED's will prescribe some combo of meds for opioid withdrawal. Good news - withdrawal does not last for too long.
