Oxybutynin 5ml=5mg: That is a single dose for a child 5 years old or older. It would probably be OK, but still one would recommend calling the child's doctor and the poison control center: 1-800-222-1222 if a child takes something that he is not supposed to take.

Watch side effects: Oxybutynin is for over reacting urine bladder, your son may not pass urine for few hours.But watch if he has stomach pain ,diarrhea,heart burn, drowsiness and dryness of mouth or blurred vision , if any of these symptoms appear go to your doctor or emergency room. watch for urination also.
