A member asked:

Could fibran plus (haemostatic) be useful to stop continuous mild menstrual bleeding?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Tranexamic acid is a new drug that is approved for heavy menstrual bleeding. This is prescribed after other causes of heavy bleeding (fibroids, cancer etc) have been ruled out. It is not a first line drug. Best Wishes Dr M
