Hearing voices: Following thorough psychiatric assessment & diagnostic evaluation, recommendation is made to start antipsychotic medications (if voices are due to psychotic disorder), mood stabilizers (if voices are due to a mood disorder) , or refer to pcp to evaluate medical causes for the hallucinations & treat the underlying causes.
