Fertility definition: Fertility rates are typically expressed in terms of likelihood to conceive within a one year time frame. Couples in whom the woman is under 35 years old, are considered infertile if there is no conception within 1 year of trying, but if the woman is older, then 6 months without success should result in evaluation. Rei is the term for a specialist in female infertility.

Reproduction: All the terms are related to reproduction, especially female reproduction. A reproductive endocrinologist (rei) is an obstetrician gynecologist that has had sub specialty training in infertility and female hormonal management.
