Treat it: If you are truly worried about cholesterol you need to follow your MD advise re: diet and medications. Just as important is to lose weight and DAILY exercises (45 to 60 min) to improve your Good cholesterol (HDL) that protects against the bad (LDL). You also need to control any other risk factors if you have them (HBP, diabetes, smoking, etc)
