Yes: A small percentage of women will get pregnant on their own in spite of having a tubal ligation such as the Pomeroy. Its also possible to have in-vitro fertilization. In this instance fertilization occurs in the lab and the fertilized embryo is implanted in a way that bypasses the tubal ligation. Best wishes!
