Get psychiatric care: Get a proper full diagnosis from either a psychiatrist or psychologist. If you have a bipolar diagnosis you will need to be on a mood stabilizer and probably an antidepressant. The nos consideration is due to not making the clear criteria for either bipolar 1 or 2.

Bipolar disorder Tx: Meds fall into classes of mood stabilizers (Lithium​/ anticonvulsants like valproic acid, divalproex or lamotrigine) & atypical antipsychotics (Quetiapine, aripiprazole, olanzapine or risperidone). Other tx: psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychotherapy & family or group therapy. Refractory cases- Transcranial magnetic stimulation or electroconvulsive therapy. BP NOS does not meet>
