Cancer out of Origin: Cancer has already gone out of pancreas. One of the typical places it likes to go to is the liver. Disease is now spread beyond the primary site.

Moved to other organ: Metastatic pancreatic cancer is cancer that started in the pancreas and then moved to other organs. Most commonly it moves to the liver. It can spread throughout the body though.

Spread: When any cancer spreads the term "metastatic" applies. It means the tumor which started in the pancreas has spread elsewhere. For pancreatic, a common site is the liver.
