Migraines?: A headache per se never killed anybody, but occasionally what causes headaches can. Yours sound like new-onset migraines, which may be painful but not dangerous. However, you can have them for many years and require specialist care. There is no substitute for a history and physical exam in a Dr's office to rule out dangerous things like malignant hypertension, etc.
