Rheumatoid arthritis: Controlling rheumatoid arthritis is a daily goal that you will have for the rest of your life. Nobody has ever cured RA as far as I know. You will take a stepwise approach to it using light exercise and tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin as needed. If and when that is no longer enough, you will probably be moved to steroids. Your PCP can help you a lot. Good luck!
