If you and your husband are open to adoption, should you go through infertility treatments?

Personal decision: I know some very happy adoptive parents. Even adoption within the us may take a long time (years), be difficult and expensive, and may be less open to nontraditional parents. Adopting from another country adds another layer. If fertility treatment with your own eggs or sperm does not succeed, donor egg or donor embryos are alternatives which let you carry the baby. Choose what feels right for you.

Yes: At least get a good evaluation of male and female as there are many easy treatments to improve fertility. Adoption is also a wonderful way to have a family.
