Micrpenis not normal: True penile length measurements are from pubic bone to tip of stretched penis. Should be about 4 cm in normal 9-y-o. May look very small if he is fat or chubby & has base of penis buried in the pre-pubic fat pad. Needs to see a pediatric endocrinologist or urologist if truly small, for work-up & possible course of testosterone injections. Must be before puberty 2B effective.
