Possibly: It certainly sounds temporally related. Classically grapefruit inhibit p450 cyp3a4 which would drive up the concentration of any medications also using that enzyme and giving you side effects not negation. Also Wellbutrin (bupropion) uses 2b6 and 2d6 which are not the same enzymes. This is nice in theory but you have a strong temporal association and should check in with your prescriber if feeling depressed

Food interactions: Great question, as Dr Jackson noted buprorion is metabolized by cyp2b6. This metabolism is necessary for its benefit. A search revealed that certain pesticides, chlorpyrifos, block cyp2b6. I wonder if your veg drink / grapefruit my have contaminants or if even certain veg block this. We know several natural substances eg St Johns wort interferes with metabolism in significant way with AIDS treatment.
