The migraine aura: is a neurosensory disturbance that includes a series of idiopathic, recurring neurologic symptoms that develop gradually over a 5-20 minute period and last less than an hour. An aura that lasts more than 60 minutes may be indicative of more serious pathology. As the aura abates there may be a pain-free interval. Take your medication before the headache occurs at aura end.
