Typical: Allergic reactions often causes itching but the symptoms are greatly organ-dependent. *Nose- congestion, runny nose, sneezing *Eyes- itching, redness, tearing *chest-wheezing, shortness of breath, and coughing. Other conditions include hives from food, itchy mouth and throat from certain fruits, and rarely anaphylaxis. Contact skin allergy is yet another but the mechanism is different.
