My child's nose always running not just clear liquid, but thick sometimes. she is only 2 yr.?

Not unusual: Year olds often have a runny nose for what seems like forever, particularly those in day care. The color and consistency will vary and does not mean necessarily that it is sinus infection but if it remains thick green and yellow for 2-3 weeks he may benefit from an antibiotic.
