Doctors, what is the difference between cymbalta and duloxetine?

None: Duloxetine is the generic name for Cymbalta. Cymbalta is the brand name for duloxetine. This drug recently became available in generic form, which typically will cost you less if you have prescription coverage through your insurance. They should work about the same. I have not had anyone complain about the generic so far.
