Get help: There are many places to find help. First and foremost, your primary care doctor or your psychiatrist, or other therapists. You can call 911, you can go to any emergency department or urgent care, or you can call a number of suicide hotlines. The Samaritans are the best known of these, and have 24/7 availability by phone. The local number for your area can be found online or by calling 411.
