No.: Everyone has a small amount of Lactic Acid in their body. Those who have an excess of Lactic Acid are generally very ill. They need hospitalization and intensive care to reverse the underlying process which has seriously undermined their metabolism. The rest of us have nothing to worry about from physiologic amounts of Lactic Acid and no treatment is necessary.
