Yes, bad ones: Yes, it can cause problems with elevated blood pressure. Unless you are a male with erection problems, unable to use the newer safer meds, and have a doctor to prescribe it safely, there is no reason to take yohimbine.

Agree w Dr. Honore: Yohimbine has a # of potential side effects to include: rapid heart rate, confusion, allergic reactions, headaches, nausea, vomiting, rash, frequent urination, increased blood pressure, dizziness, anxiety, tremor, irritability, insomnia & skin flushing. High doses of Yohimbine have been associated w low blood pressure, problems breathing & death. It should not be used during pregnancy/ breast -
