What is molluscum?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dimple warts: These are little lesions in which a poxvirus proliferates. They itch, eventually a cheese-like white mass comes out that's made almost entirely of viruses, and the infection can be spread on the fingers. There are a variety of ways of treating them. They should not be considered evidence of abuse or poor hygiene. They are annoying but not dangerous.
