While I agree: With dr namey, a penile injury, either accidental in a zipper or other trauma, or an abrasion from sex can become infected with staph. Some infections are superficial, but to say it is "staph aureus" suggest it was cultured, and tehre are sensitivity tests to determine what antibiotic the staph is sensitive to and resistant. Washing and hygiene help. And keep it clean until clear.
