By pregnancy test: Decidual bleeding occurs in pregnant people. You can take a pregnancy test. If negative then it is not decidual bleeding

If pregnant: Decidual bleeding occurs exclusively in pregnant women. You could check a pregnancy test at home. If it is negative then this is not decimal bleeding.
