Not ovulating: It sounds like you have anovulation or difficulty ovulating. One common form of anovulation is PCOS....polycystic ovary syndrome. There are other conditions (like hypothyroidism, increased prolactin levels, etc.) that your doctor can rule out with simple blood tests. BCPs keep your menses regular and it's probably best that you stay on them. You may need fertility meds in future to ovulate.
