Lyme disease: Lyme disease is transmitted through a bite from a specific type of tick. Common symptoms are flu-like symptoms, stiff neck, chills, fever, swollen lymph nodes, headaches, fatigue, muscle aches, and joint pain, especially TMJ. If you have been bitten by a tick, see your doctor for evaluation and treatment. It can be effectively treated with antibiotics. Good luck.
