Migraine definition: Migraines are defined as being severe, disabling headaches which are intermittent. In between attacks one is pain free. They typically last 4-72 hours and are associated with nausea and or vomiting, light and sound sensitivity and difficulty concentrating. Migraine is genetic and runs in families. Hope this helps.
