A member asked:

How do i get tested to see if i have hemachromatosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Any physician: Any physician able to do general practice can screen you with a chemical profile, serum iron, total iron binding capacity, serum ferritin, and/or test for the gene as appropriate. It's good you ask. Hemochromatosis common and deadly if missed, but easy to treat.
