A member asked:

Help plz! can sedatives interact with warfarin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Warfarin is metabolized by the liver, there are multiple substances that can increase the rate of it's breakdown ( enzyme inducers) which might lead to a decreased blood-thinning effect. Converslely, there are drugs that slow down this process and may lead to risk of bleeding. I would suggest discussing specifics with your doctor or pharmacist. Hope that helps
