A corticosteroid...: ...called "fluticasone" is one of the ingredients of Advair. Corticosteroids are well known for causing temporary rises in white blood cell counts (leukocytosis). However, typically advair does not cause much effect on the bodies other systems, since it is inhaled and most concentrated in the lungs. High WBC counts can also be a sign of infection or inflammation somewhere in the body.
