? Question: Mydriasis and cardiac asystole both occur after death. Otherwise I am not sure what you are asking.

Could be serious: Cardiac asystole leads to cardiac arrest which if unsuccessful leads to death and mydriasis, if successful but prolong can lead to brain injury presenting with mydriasis. It also could be transient secondary to Atropine which is used in asystole during cpr.
