Not always: During sexual intercourse, depending on how vigorous the act is performed, the female, might bleed or not. If the female has never had sexual intercourse before, she might bleed or not after the hymen is ruptured. Not all females that experience sexual intercourse for the first time have an intact hymen, as some might already have a perforated one, in which case is less likely to bleed.
