Thrombophilia: In the right circumstances an elevated DRVVT and a PTT-LA could help in the diagnosis of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. Depending on the circumstances in which you had the pulmonary embolism plus elevation of the Lupus Anticoagulant test; can point out a higher risk of recurrence for venous thrombotic and embolic events.
