No fertile week: There isn't supposed to be any fertile time while on birth control pills. However the pill has a failure rate of about 1%, and people can get pregnant on the pill. If your cycle wasn't normal, or your period was lighter than normal, then I would check a pregnancy test to be safe. Home pregnancy tests are accurate about two weeks after conception. Use your first morning urine for best results.
