Maybe they suspect: This is a difficult question that requires courage which you must have since you are writing about it. If you are 36 yrs old and are transsexual, your parents may have more of an idea than you think and just don't want to talk about it. Maybe have dinner with them and either tell them directly or ask if they wondered. The important thing is to let them know you are happy with your situation.
