Minimum of 12 hours: Published sources quote a range of norovirus survival duration on contaminated hard surfaces. The shortest duration cited is 12 hours. Most sources quote days to weeks. Decontamination with an appropriate product (such as bleach) kills the virus.

Norovirus: Norovirus can live on most hard and soft surfaces for around 2 weeks. It can live in still, standing water for MUCH longer.
