A member asked:

How much time does mitosis in cancerous cells take place, on average?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No average: Cancer types are dramatically different with regards to how quickly cell division takes place and even the same type of cancer can be dramatically different between patients. Calculating an average time for mitosis to occur therefore really isn't feasible.
