Very gradually....: First I urge you to discuss this with your doctor. Going off Geodon (ziprasidone) may cause whatever symptoms you had to begin with, to return. Your Dr may suggest you try something else instead, while you taper the Geodon (ziprasidone). Always taper gradually, the slower the better, unless you felt it was causing a serious side effect or allergic reaction. Geodon (ziprasidone) comes in different strengths which can make tapering easier.

Geodon (ziprasidone): Very gradually & under supervision, at least by 20mg. every 4-7 days.
