Therapy?: Not sure of the question. I feel that all patients need physical therapy after rotator cuff surgery. This focuses on motion of the shoulder, progressing to strengthening of the rotator cuff. Make sure to discuss this with your orthopaedic surgeon.

You need assistant: You can not use that arm for 3 weeks, beside the pain you are going to have from the surgery, so if it is your right arm you can not use it for three weeks almost for any thing.
