Hemoglobin: Several methods exist for measuring haemoglobin, most of which are done by automated machines. Within the machine, the red blood cells are broken down to get Hb into a solution. The free Hb is exposed to a chemical containing cyanide which binds tightly to Hb molecule to form cyanomethehemoglobine .By shining a light through the solution and measuring how much light is absorbed =amount of Hb
