May not be needed: Treatment of renal cysts often depends upon appearance on imaging studies, in particular CT scans. With a CT scan without and with contrast, one can tell if there are any parts of renal cystic lesions that enhance, or pick up dye and "light up". Other characteristics, such as calcium associated with cyst walls or septations can be suspicious. Round cysts are likely benign. Talk to a urologist.
